6 Months

Six months old today!

Max wanted in on the birthday pictures!

mKate is 1/2 a year old today.  Wow!  She has really accomplished some big things this month.  She has tackled rolling over, sitting up, and is beginning to scoot backwards.  She also now sings "ahh yaa yaa" on a regular basis when she is not cackling and giggling at Big Bro Max.  She started the month on only breastmilk and has now added rice cereal, green beans, sweet potatoes, and squash to her menu.  I don't think she "likes" any of them, but she allows us to spoon it towards her.  When she has had enough she motorboats it all back at us.  Oh, yea, at the beach she learned to sip water dropped from a straw.  Busy Month.  Max is very proud of her!  Yesterday we were taking a neighborhood walk and someone asked how old he was, He replied "She's 6 mo!" He didn't even catch on that they were complimenting his "scootering" ability and questioning his age.  He just wanted to talk about his little sister.  I hope he keeps this wonder for her and she continues to look at him in amazement.  It is a true blessing to be able to witness this bonding between my babes.  Thank you, Lord, for all that you have given us!
