Blogging and Praying that I never forget these days . . . .

Destin Arrival

Well, July is here and so is our long awaited Parsons beach trip.  We had a great time and made lots of new memories.  I am blogging each day as an entry to show a better snapshot of our vacation.  So, naturally I will start with Saturday and the 12 hrs in the van.  Oh, yea, Parsons and a van!  A few years ago on a trip to Tahoe Big Daddy rented a big white 15 passenger van for everyone.  Since that trip we have been to Destin, Myrtle Beach, and back to Tahoe with white vans.  Well, Max has become attached to that idea and thinks everyone in a white van is on a vacation.  So naturally when Big Daddy planned the trip, he rented a van and we all piled up and headed south.  He loves traveling with everyone in one vehicle.  It is interesting!! (to say the least)  When we finally arrived to Destin after a day of travels we headed straight to the beach.  Mary Kate was upset by the feel of the sand and the crashing waves.  Max acted as if he hadn't missed a day at the beach.  He immediately jumped on his board and started riding the wave.  After a short trip to the sand, we were all ready for seafood.  We started the week at one of our favorites . . . Dewey Destin's!  Yummy.  If you have never been there, definately put it on your to do list!
Not so sure!
