Beach Day

May 24, 2013

The last weeks of school were full of activities.  I got to spend lots of time with Max and all his classmates.  I love to see them all interact and play together.  Today they had a Beach Day as a reward for the huge Penny Drive they held earlier in the year.  Max's class was actually the top class with amount of money turned in.  Once the other classes found out their amounts, they got bombed with other classes money from the turn in.  Being kindergarteners they really didn't understand that part of the Penny War, but they did know they had brought in the most money.  Beach Day was full of outside activities like cageball, playground time, and popsicles.  They also got to spend part of the day on a giant waterslide.  The kids were fun to watch as they came down the slide and then off into the mud.  It was a great day with lots of memories.
